We are excited to announce the close of a S$2.6m seed investment round led by deep tech VC Elev8. We are humbled to be supported by an incredible group of investors, including SGInnovate, early-stage enterprise and deep tech VC Wavemaker Partners, the Lim Teck Lee Group, Japanese software enterprise TIS Inc, V1 Capital (the seed investment office of Vy Capital) and talent investor Entrepreneur First. They were joined by angel investors Charlie Songhurst (former Microsoft head of Corporate Strategy) and Claus Nehmzow (Chief Innovation Officer at Eastern Pacific Shipping).

While experience has led us to shift our application focus from our original ideas, our mission has never changed: Doing the best with quantum computers, today. We recognise it is a privilege to study, understand, and use the most advanced quantum processors available. We are now expanding our capabilities and software technology while growing Entropica’s core team in sunny Singapore, a booming hotspot for quantum technologies research and one of the world’s most captivating cities.

We would like to thank all the people who have believed in our vision and supported us in getting to this first important milestone for the company. We are grateful to Singapore’s Centre for Quantum Technologies, Entrepreneur First, the team at the Creative Destruction Lab in Toronto, our quantum hardware partners, advisors, and colleagues from the quantum computing community.

We also would like to use this opportunity to remember our friend and colleague, Dr Peter Wittek. Peter was always supportive of our efforts and a great advocate for quantum computing and the importance of building a healthy industry for the technology. We would dearly love to celebrate this one with you.
